Dedications Celebrated

The dedication of a new building is an exciting celebration for congregations. So many people, work so hard, to bring a building project together. We are proud to announce the completion of several of our recent projects:

Lakeshore Baptist Church, in Grand Haven, Michigan dedicated its new building on Sunday, August 13. This is a brand new complex for the congregation. Our crew assembled the church’s 96’ octagon in January of 2000. Lakeshore Baptist is our third project with the McMaster Corporation and Aslan Architecture of Grand Rapids, Michigan. As always, Jim Meek and Jerry McMaster can certainly be proud of their work in Grand Haven.

On September 10, 2000 Echo Meadows Church of Christ dedicated its multi-purpose facility. Our crew assembled the 70’x89’ rectangle in Oregon, Ohio in September of 1999. This was another joint project with our friends from ADECO, Inc. This was our fourth project with the Springboro, Ohio based design-build group. Several of the UCS staff members had a chance to visit the project a few weeks before their dedication. While there, we created a virtual tour which should be on our website within a few weeks.

Ross Bible Church filled its 110’ octagon during the September 17, dedication. The Port Huron, Michigan congregation honored their on-site supervisor, Ray Kemp, with a one of a kind rendering of the structure. Ray is a retired contractor who has been a long time member of Ross Bible Church. He put his heart into this project. Our crew worked side-by-side with Ray in December of 1999 and would welcome the opportunity to do so again, anytime. We promise we will bring coffee.
