Now that Spring is here we are busy preparing for our
upcoming projects. Hopefully we will be working close to
you so, you can take the opportunity to check out one of
United Church Structures’ job sites.
The following are examples of what our office and our
on-site staff are busy preparing for:
Corinth Baptist Church's project is ready to start
work again after hitting a road block with their
financing. Warder and Associates are ready for us
on-site, and we will soon be on our way to meet them. We
will be installing a long awaited 70’ dome for the
Capitol Heights, Maryland congregation. The church’s
leaders cannot stress enough the importance of a solid
financial package.
Our second job will be Christ Love Gospel Temple in
Whitesboro, New Jersey. The church’s builder, Bill
Gaiger of Creative Construction, is busy finishing the
slab in preparation for the church’s 110’ geodesic
dome.
Shiloh Baptist Church of Easton, Pennsylvania is also
busy on-site. They are preparing for the assembly of a
120’ dome structure. CC. Inc. Construction Services
will be finishing foundations in the next few weeks.
Lexington Seventh Day Adventist Church of Lexington,
Kentucky celebrated their ground breaking, for their new
phase, on April 14. Their general contractor, the LCM
Company, started site work the next day. We will be
installing a 81’x52’ superstructure for the church’s
new sanctuary.
Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church located right
here in Flint, is getting very excited for us to build
their 110’ octagon. The general contracting team of
Will H. Hall and Sons are working with local officials
to obtain a building permit. Job superintendent, Terry
Mayberry, of Will H. Hall is ready to get site work
going.
We will also be in Cambridge, Maryland to assemble a
54' square for Cambridge Church of Christ. Their
builder, J. Vinton Schafer and Sons, intends to start
site work on May 1. The architects of Edmeades and
Stromdahl are finishing up final details for the
building.
Keep your eyes open, as there are more projects on
the horizon. As always, we will try to keep updated as
