Steel
for the Balcony
Miamisburg

to support additional seating. This
photo shows the steel in the sanctuary
which will support that balcony.
Attaching
Beams
UCS
crew members use lifts to position themselves
to attach the beams to steel connectors.
Narthex
Under Construction
After the UCS
crew finished the shell, they returned
a week later to build a laminated arch
narthex. This photo was taken while
the arches and beams were being set.
Lifting
Panels
After the arches
and beams were set, the UCS crew placed
the roof panels. They are hoisted
into place by a crane, and then secured
by a crew member in a lift.
